The TranspacificYacht Race (Transpac) is an offshore yacht race that’s considered to be the most grueling and longest yacht race in the world at a distance of around 2,225 nautical miles. At one point competitors are the furthest from land anywhere in the world

Started in 1906, it’s one of yachting's most prestigious and grueling offshore races. The race comes around only every couple years and attracts entrants from all over the world. Organized by the Transpacific Yacht Club…. Transpac starts off in Long Beach near Los Angeles, finishing off the Diamond Head Lighthouse in Honolulu.

This exciting TV series celebrates life on the water. Whether it's kayaking in the Finger Lakes Region of Western New York of sailing Chesapeake Bay ; THAT’S BOATING covers it all.

One of our favorite boating destinations is Clearwater, Florida where we jumped aboard the tugboat "Little Toot" and went searching for dolphins.

We were quickly joined by a family of dolphins riding our bow waves and enjoying themselves in our prop wash. “Doplhins have riding the bow waves and wakes of boats for as long as men have kept records" said Little Toot’s Captain George Davis. He added that "Columbus even noted porpoises riding along the bows the Nina, Pint and Santa Maria."

In the channel; navigation is key and with over 200 boats passing through on any given Saturday it can get pretty hectic.
